We scaled Chatbase from a side project to a $6M ARR startup. No sales team, no VCs, just product‑led growth. Here is the full strategy for scaling to millions purely through product-led growth. 1. 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀. Look for time sinks, spreadsheets, and hacked-together workflows that people already pay to solve. Don't try to invent smth never seen before if this is your first startup. You're either a genius or it's not going to work, and it's most likely the latter. 2. 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗩𝗣 𝗶𝗻 3 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀. Your only goal here is to have a Stripe button on a landing page. Anything more is just procrastination. 3. 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴. Talk like a friend showing progress, not a founder pitching. 4. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀. This will reduce churn of your users and increase long term trust. Your MVP should be very small and very reliable. 5. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 100 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀. DM people in niche communities who've complained about the exact problem you solve. Create value-first posts: "Built this tool that [solves X problem], looking for 5 testers..." 6. 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 “𝗮𝗵𝗮” 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.  Every extra click is a tax on conversion. Simplify the path from signup → value. 7. 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁. Users willing to talk are basically paying to be your focus group. Treat them well. 8. 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁? 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 (𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁). Jump on calls, watch them screen‑share, ask why they almost didn’t buy. 9. 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗽𝘀. Partner with the influencers other influencers copy.  Talk about your growth for more growth. 10. 𝗦𝗘𝗢 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴. Blog today so Google sends users tomorrow, next month, and next year. FYI, PLG doesn't mean staying small. You can always add a sales team and move upmarket later. This will be much easier with all the learnings from self-serve customers. This is what we're doing now on our way to $100M ARR.

I used to think hustle was the key to high performance. Then I learned the real secret: REST is the most powerful RGA. Most sellers grind themselves into dust chasing performance. But I’ve coached 100s of top performers—and the highest earners don’t work more hours. They master their energy. Here’s how I worked 40 hours a week (never work nights or weekends) and still outperformed 99% of reps: Let’s flip the script on what it takes to be a top performer in sales. Everyone talks about RGAs—Revenue Generating Activities. But no one talks about the energy required to do RGAs well. If you want to prospect with intensity, sell with presence, and close big deals— You need rest. At a mastermind recently, someone called it the “Ultimate RGA”: Rest Generating Activities. Because without rest, RGAs fall apart. You’ll be foggy. Reactive. Distracted. You’ll confuse activity with impact. Here’s how I train reps to recharge intentionally—so they can win without burnout: 1. Plan 4 Vacations a Year I pre-block 4 weeks off annually. They’re non-negotiable. It doesn’t matter if it’s Hawaii or your local mountain trail— The key is knowing you are unavailable. Not half-working. Not checking Slack. Fully present. Fully off. 2. Track and Protect Your Sleep I use a WHOOP. You can use anything. But if you're not sleeping 7+ hours, consistently, you’re underperforming. You can’t bring intensity to your calls when you’re running on fumes. Sleep is a performance multiplier. 3. Calendar Block Your Breaks My calendar is blocked 12–1 PM every day. Lunch with my wife. A walk. Or just quiet. Three hours of deep work → 1 hour of recovery → back for the final sprint. Burnout doesn’t happen from work. It happens from nonstop work. 4. Ruthless Time Boundaries I stop work at 5 PM most days. No nights. No weekends. Ever. You don’t need 70 hours a week to crush quota. You need to stop saying yes to distractions and start owning your schedule. Parkinson’s Law is real: The less time you give yourself, the more efficient you become. 5. Say No to Busy Work I use the 12 Week Year system. Everything I do ties back to a goal. Internal meetings? Minimized. Slack and email? Batched and time-boxed. If it doesn’t move pipeline or drive impact, I don’t touch it. If you’re working 60+ hours and still missing quota... It’s not your work ethic that’s broken. It’s your calendar. Stop measuring your week by hours worked. Start measuring it by energy invested in what matters. You don’t need to grind harder. You need to recharge better. Work less. Sell more. Live fully.

You're a successful senior woman leader working long hours to meet demanding KPIs while trying to manage your life and family. You'd love to quit your job to work for yourself, but money is a problem. This is the challenge I spoke about to these ladies from PHOENIXUS. Like many of the clients I meet in the course of my work, some of these ladies want to exit their corporate jobs to start their own thing, but feel tied down by financials. The solution? Start it as a side hustle. Build your practice until it is able to sustain your lifestyle before quitting your day job. To do that, you'll need a few things. This is what I shared in my talk: 1. Know your end game What are you going to do? Will you be a coach, a consultant, or a public speaker? Is this your second career or a retirement job? (Yes, it matters) What you want to achieve will be a big determining factor in deciding how to achieve it. 2. Identify your unfair advantage Why would anyone want to engage you? What do you have that no one else does? Knowing your own strengths and overcoming your own limiting beliefs will be instrumental in your success. 3. Build your brand In an extremely crowded market, how do you stand out? If you're holding a full time job, you don't have the time to be chasing down clients every day so you need clients to come to you. What kind of brand are you building to ensure that happens? 4. Create a system for yourself You're a senior leader. It goes without saying that you're busy. You need a system to keep your side hustle running even when you're busy. Delegate or automate as much as you can so that you're only doing the most high value activities in the building of your practice. I love speaking to the ladies, and received many positive feedback that this is something they're looking for. If, like these ladies, you're looking for support to come out on your own from corporate, PM me. #womenleaders #entrepreneurship #sidehustle #careertransition #secondcareer

For two years at my previous job, I used my corporate salary to fund Tabchilli, planning every step to ensure I could handle setbacks without falling apart. If you think building a business while working full-time is easy, here’s the truth: 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞. Success shouldn’t cost your sleep. Here’s my 5-step system to protect your time The week I thought I was winning... I was actually burning out. Back-to-back contracts. Midnight emails. Client calls bleeding into dinner. At first, it felt like momentum. Like I was finally getting somewhere. But somewhere between the 2 AM revisions and the skipped weekends, it hit me: I wasn’t building a business. I was building a cage. That week didn’t teach me about hustle. It taught me about boundaries. And I see the same thing happen in the IT industry. This is where timelines stretch and clients always want “one last change”. That's why you need to protect your time. And no, you don’t need to be rude. You just need to be clear. -> Define working hours in your contract. -> Repeat them on the kickoff call. -> Stick to them. Because peace isn’t the enemy of growth. It’s the fuel for it. Success that costs your sleep, your family time, and your sanity? That’s not success. That’s a trade-off you didn’t sign up for. If you're building something - build it on your terms. With contracts that protect your time. And clients who respect your calendar. That’s the real win. And if you want this win, then here's what I suggest. 1) Put your working hours in every contract Always cover your working hours (e.g., “Monday to Friday, 10am–6pm IST”) in the contract. Add a line about response times: “Emails and messages received outside working hours will be responded to on the next business day.” 2) Make sure to define “Urgent” request and set a process Be clear on what counts as an “urgent” request and how those will be handled. Example - “Urgent support outside working hours is billed at 2x the standard rate and subject to availability”. Make it clear that not every request is urgent. 3) Be clear on your boundaries during discovery calls Also, reiterate your working hours and communication policy at the start of every project. Share your preferred channels for communication (e.g., email, Slack, WhatsApp) and when you’ll be available. 4) Use automated tools Set up auto-responders for emails or messages received outside working hours, reminding clients of your availability. Use calendar blocks to keep personal time visible and respected. 5) Protect your weekends and holidays Final thing - list public holidays and planned breaks in your contract and project timeline. Make it clear that work (and replies) will pause during these periods unless previously agreed. Don't treat boundaries as just saying “no.” Because boundaries allow you to say “yes” to the life you actually want. Build your business. But protect your peace. That’s how you win - on your own terms. --- ✍ Tell me below: Do you set boundaries in your projects?

𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐛 & 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩? 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐩 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬! Starting a business while working a full-time job is a grind like no other—but it’s also one of the smartest ways to transition into entrepreneurship without financial risk. However, most people fail because they either rush in without a plan or burn out too soon. “𝑬𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝒊𝒔𝒏’𝒕 𝒂𝒏 𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒑𝒆 𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒆; 𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝒂 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈-𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒎 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕.” 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 ‘𝐖𝐡𝐲’ 𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 Many start a side business just because they hate their job or want to make extra money. But without a deeper reason, it’s easy to quit when things get tough. ✅ Ask yourself: Am I building this because I love the process, or just escaping my 9-5? ✅ Your ‘why’ should be strong enough to keep you going even 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝. 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐂𝐄𝐎, 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞 Your 9-5 pays the bills, but your 5-9 builds your future. Most fail because they don’t protect their time. ✅ Set non-negotiable hours for your business. Even 90 minutes a day compounds over time. ✅ Cut distractions: No mindless scrolling, 𝐧𝐨 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐱 𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬, 𝐧𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬. ✅ Automate or outsource early—𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐥𝐞. 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠-𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 Balancing a job and a business is mentally exhausting. Most people give up not because their idea failed, but because they weren’t mentally prepared. ✅ Expect delays, failures, and sleepless nights. That’s part of the game. ✅ Build grit and resilience—𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧, not a sprint. ✅ Surround yourself with mentors and 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞-𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐩𝐮𝐬𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝. Quitting your job without a plan is risky. But strategic entrepreneurship—where you build something sustainable while working—is a smart move. 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐣𝐨𝐛 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬? The exit strategy roadmap I wished someone gave me sooner  Meet Ali.   Stuck. Burnt out. Overdelivering. Wearing every hat.  Ali’s business paid well, but there was zero time to enjoy it.   Built entirely on Ali’s shoulders—and those shoulders were breaking.  Here’s how I helped Ali fix it:   * Cut decision fatigue (ditched 100+ daily micro-choices).   * Created a “stop-doing” list (dropped 30% of low-impact tasks).   * Hired help for repetitive work (outsourcing ≠ losing control).   * Stopped trading hours for cash (launched retainers and digital products).   * Built a team Ali trusts (even when it felt risky).  The results:   * Revenue surged from £170k to £500k in 12 months.   * Won back 15+ hours weekly (Ali finally took vacations).   * No longer the bottleneck in operations.   * Energy returned—so did family time and hobbies.   * A business that now thrives without Ali’s daily grind.  If you’re still doing it all alone, start here:   1. Ask for help before burnout hits.   2. Replace 1:1 services with scalable systems.   3. Sell your expertise—not your hours.   4. Let go of “perfect” control (start small).   5. Invest in support early (it compounds).  You don’t need more hustle.   You need a roadmap to replace yourself.  What could you do with 15 extra hours every week?  PS: Want Ali’s exact 5-step method? Join 8-10 founders in our live workshop.   Comment “Workshop” for early access.  Repost to help someone escape the burnout cycle.

Hustle isn’t the villain. Unrecovered hustle is. Last year, a founder friend hit what he called “the productivity wall.” He wasn’t burned out in the traditional sense... still energised, still showing up. But something was off. Decision fatigue set in by noon. Creative ideas flatlined. Small tasks felt oddly heavy. He thought he needed a new planner. What he needed was a nervous system reset. Here’s the misdiagnosis: Most high-performers think exhaustion is a workload problem. But in truth, it’s a recovery problem. Your nervous system isn’t built for constant “on.” And hustle, without rhythm, turns into erosion. Want to self-audit? - Do you feel foggy even after 8 hours of sleep? - Do you grind through the day without energy peaks? - Do you struggle to “turn off” even when you stop working? If so, you don’t need another productivity hack. You need a Recovery Protocol Install™. Here’s how I break it down for clients: 1. Micro-Resets — Structured 5-15 min daily nervous system downshifts. 2. Off-Grid Rituals — Weekly blocks with zero inputs (yes, even podcasts). 3. Recovery ROI — Track recovery like you would sales: weekly metrics, adjustments, patterns. The worldview shift? Recovery isn’t the opposite of hustle. It’s the fuel source that makes it sustainable. One client used this approach to cut their work hours by 20% and saw a 3x uptick in strategic output within 60 days. If you’re hustling hard but feeling half-alive, don’t double down. Double back. Recovery is the real edge.

GRAVEYARDS ARE FILLED WITH LEADERS WHO LOST THEIR HEALTH TO HUSTLE. They did not fall to competition. They fell to exhaustion, stress, & self-destruction. Your health is the foundation of your performance. Without it, everything else collapses. A CEO I know built a thriving company but ignored his health for years. At 54, a sudden cardiac event ripped him out of the boardroom. An interim was installed. Within three months, the board replaced him, & a lifetime of hustle was erased in a season because he ignored his health. And unfortunately, I’m no stranger to this either. As a single mother of three & an entrepreneur, I’ve pushed myself beyond the edge far too many times. I’ve fallen into the abyss of exhaustion. And I’ve endured the cost of sacrificing health for success far too many times. I’m a bit stubborn, you know?! But finally I realized that things had to change. And they probably need to change for you as well. Please do not let your life become the next corporate casualty. The truth is, sustainable high performance requires equanimity, the calm strength that enables you to make clear decisions & endure storms without breaking. Health is what makes this possible. Without it, you default to reactivity & burnout. The data is alarming: *Sleeping less than 6 hours reduces cognitive capacity by 40% and slashes problem solving ability by 30%. *Chronic stress without recovery doubles depression risk and raises the likelihood of cardiovascular disease by nearly 50%. *Burnout paired with poor lifestyle choices can shorten your life expectancy by 23 years. *Forbes reports that in 2025, 66% of American workers are experiencing some form of burnout. This is the silent epidemic at the core of modern day leadership & unfortunately, high performers fall the hardest when they ignore it. History does not need another leader who trades health for hustle. So here’s HOW TO PROTECT YOUR PERFORMANCE WITHOUT BURNING OUT: → GUARD YOUR SLEEP: Treat 7 to 8 hours as a non-negotiable. No excuses. → ENGINEER RECOVERY: Schedule daily resets. Ten minutes of breath work, journaling, or a walk is enough to reset your system. → MEASURE WHAT MATTERS: Track your health like you track revenue. Heart Rate Variability (HRV) shows how well you handle stress, labs reveal problems before they derail you, & energy cycles show when you are sharp or running on fumes. These leadership metrics are as critical as your company’s KPIs. → MOVE DAILY: Sweat every day. Movement builds clarity, energy, and resilience. → FUEL FOR FOCUS: Hydrate, eat clean, & skip the sugar-crash cycle. Fuel your brain for performance. Without health, vision fades. Leadership weakens.  Legacies remain unwritten. My friends… Don’t let this happen to you. Instead… Protect Your Health Elevate Your Energy Leave Your Legacy I’m curious.. 👉 What is ONE health shift you commit to today so your performance will not collapse tomorrow? #health #leadership #success

Everyone’s preaching “work smart.” No one admits you can’t earn that privilege until you’ve worked hard first. Building a profitable business or a stable income source requires more than just smart work; it demands vision, persistence, and strategic growth. You can’t truly learn to work smart without first spending significant time working hard. For those looking to scale their business or increase revenues, hard work builds the foundation; it teaches discipline, resilience, and a deep understanding of your market and your customers. It’s through hard work that you learn the nuances of your industry, the intricacies of problem-solving, and the patience required to achieve sustainable growth. But hard work doesn’t have to mean endless hustle without reward. The trick is to channel that hard work in the right direction. Here’s how I learned to make hard work more rewarding as I scaled my business: 1 =>Reflect and Analyze: Take time to understand what’s working and what’s not. Hard work without reflection can lead to wasted effort. Look at your revenue streams and your client acquisition strategies, and pick up only the ones that are working. 2 =>Streamline and Optimize: Once you know what works, find ways to do it more efficiently. Automate processes, delegate tasks and systemize operations to free up your time for high-impact activities. That's when you start putting smart work in action. 3 =>Invest in High-Value Activities: Focus your efforts on revenue-generating tasks; building strong client relationships, refining your product or service, and scaling what brings the most returns. 4 =>Build a Strong Team: Scaling a business requires more than individual effort. Surround yourself with talented, driven people and empower them to take ownership of key areas. If you are not ready to hire an in-house team, build a strong team using freelancers and agencies. 5 =>Stay Consistent and Patient: Growth takes time. The combination of hard work and smart strategies pays off when you stay consistent and adaptable. Hard work is the foundation, smart work is your growth engine! You do need a foundation to build a growth engine on! How are you balancing hard and smart work together?
